Step3 Identify the Rx port and Tx port on the optical module, plug the LC connector of one fiber into the Rx port,

and plug the LC connector of the other fiber into the Tx port, as shown in

Figure 24.

Step4 Plug the LC connectors of the fibers respectively into the Rx port and Tx port of the peer device. For a

given fiber, if one end is plugged into an Rx port of the access controller, the other end must be plugged

into a Tx port of the peer device.

Step5 Power on the access controller and check the status of the SFP LEDs. The following table explains the SFP

LED status.
